Do you get to choose perks after level 50? If so,is there any source or somewhat reliable evidence?

Yup. Just gotta hit ~ and then type SetAV perks X. X is whatever you want perks to be. I bet 50 internet cookies that all of the console commands will be the same.

Considering the hard level cap is at 75... It's a safe bet to assume yes.

Let's work backwards instead. We've been told you get a perk each level. The ONLY thing we've been told about 50+ is that leveling slows down. Why would you NOT get perks past 50?

Where? This number doesn't even make sense.
1-50 is 49 levels. If it stops at 50, you have 49 perks.

1-75(Speculated hard cap) is 74. Again, not 70.

We got ourselves a mathematician folks! So hardcoe. :celebration: (I kid, I kid!)

Yeah, this has been confirmed a whiiile back to be the case. Leveling simply slows down and perks are more difficult to reach due to the experience gaps as they increase.

Some one sourced Pete Hines on twitter but I looked through alot of the tweets and couldnt find one that said that perks continue past 50

Actually thats not true, at one point in time they said that perks would stop at the soft cap of 50, this is why people are confused

You would think by now someone with the guide would have confirmed the number of perks

Plus, I've heard that there are about 5 perks that you can get from quests aside from leveling.

Exactly what I said in my first post in this thread. Perks don't stop at 50... they're just slower received because leveling slows.

Thanks Bethy,...yea,that's what im saying. In the GI podcast I remember Todd Howard mentioned you could only get 50 perks. Then he mentioned you could still keep leveling up to about 70-75.

I too thought someone with the game OR the guide would have confirmed this by now.

It's true 50 was the cap on perks at announcement but come E3 they announced that the cap had been removed. Also, peaking somewhere in the 70's is only a theoretical estimate. We know it's going to vary based on your build but we don't know how far the range is. It could be 70-80 or 60-90.

I am almost 100% sure I read perks stop at level 50. But you can still level up after it, but it takes longer.

That says around 70... because we know the hard cap is over 70... but I now see where he got the number.

Okay. This also 'confirms' we get 70ish perks. I get why he said 70.
