Are the Story DLC worth the buy?

I don't normally buy DLC but this game was really good and if the DLC is anything like the main game then I will get them. I got the game for my BDay on the 29th of November (among other games) and just got around to playing it and finished it (save best for last) and loved it. I am hoping there will be a second one. Thanks.

Hi, welcome to the forum. :)
The DLC are every bit as fun as the main game, you also get a few new powers and weapons. Daud is an interesting character, it was nice to learn more about him. Both parts have slightly different atmosphere - TKoD is more down-to-earth, 'a day in a Whaler's life' style while TBW gets more eerie and magical (you deal with conspiring witches, after all). The only thing I didn't like was how Arkane handled Daud's motivations and fate at the very end, but it didn't diminish my enjoyment of the DLC as a whole. I'd definitely recommend them.
One thing though, if you want to buy them it's best to wait a few days until Steam starts the winter sale.

Thanks. I have the Xbox 360 version of the game..and there was already a sale for Dishonored the game and the DLC I had enough to get the DLC that came with a lot of bones and stuff. Wish I had enough to get the DLC then. But I could still get it now. Even though it is 10 USD I think it may be worth that price tag? It would be nice to learn more about Daud, I don't think the main game explained him a lot. Unless it did in books and notes and that stuff. I didn't read them all, next play through I will. Gonna try and do none lethal but trying to get past those tallboys is annoying, when they came into play I died the most from them.
