Hope this helps

Of course they will end. You will run out of npcs to kill...... depopulate the towns, and yer all done.

Could they not just copy some of the code from Fallout 3 and have nukes wipe out the cities? It would be a lot quicker.

Not that much quicker actually thinking about it...

After finishing all non-radiant Dawnguard quests, I have seen no more vampire attacks.

I DID get attacked by a group in the wild, but not one in the cities.

We need official conformation on this. There have been just as many reports saying they do and they don't as each other.

On both sides the attacks ceased after the QL was finished for me

That wouldn't be so bad if that was the case. You could just be ultra careful of where you travel to until the QL was finished even though that wouldn't be very enjoyable but then people are saying there no let up on the attacks afterwards also. So someone's either wrong or a liar... Or it's a bug that is effecting some and not others. :ermm:

I would tell you if the attacks were happening. But I've been travelling all over the place for assassination contracts, and no vamps have assaulted the cities.

Shoulda gone with nameless respawning npcs for those radiant vamp assassination quests. You can get those in the DB right?

Yep, they just have a generic name for what their profession is.
