Are there mods that add new types of crafting stations?

Meaning, has anybody taken the code for one of the existing crafting or improving stations, like the forge, alchemy table, cookpot, enchanting table, armor-hammering table (I forget what it's called), tanning rack or grindstone, and given it a new model, new character animation, new name, and made it part of crafting new classes of items? I ask because I've seen mods that allow clothes or bandages to be crafted, but it has to be done at an existing station like the tanning rack, and that just seems a little odd. Seems like a loom or something might be the thing to use, or a sewing table, or whatever.

So has anybody done this, or are the existing crafting stations hard-coded in such a way that you can't tinker with them except to add new items to the stations we already have, and creating new ones is impossible?

I think it's hard coded.

Huh. Too bad. Would have been interesting to have the ability to create different crafting stations for use with various things you want people to be able to make in a mod.

Yes, crafting is hardcoded, and the information passed from the game to the crafting UI menu is also very generalized.

I believe a couple mods have new versions of the stations, house mods to be specific but I don't remember which ones. And by versions I mean they look different but the animation and what you do with them are the same.

Hmmm. Might have to look into that. Saw some cool house mods last time I checked, but nothing that particularly fit my next character.
