I was just wondering if there were zombies in Skyrim. And I don't mean reanimated corpses from magic. I'd be disappointed if there weren't. I don't know why they would have Draugr AND Skeletons when skeletons are more similar to Draugrs than zombies are.

Just bumping this as I'd like to know...

Necromancers can reanimate the dead and they sure as hell moan like zombies.

I think the Draugr take the place of the common zombie I could be wrong this is by no means factual! Besides that is creatures and people being risen from the dead by necromancers is the closest you will get.

I don't think there are zombies per se like there were in Oblivion. The Draugr are the "zombies" of Skyrim, just like the Corprus Beasts and Corprus Stalkers were the "zombies" of Morrowind. Same thing, really, just different names/reasons for being.

Draugr are zombies. Just nordic ones.

I was infected by one of the Draugr and ended up on feeding the brains of the living. Though every settlement would attack me on sight, but I gained extra strength and damage resistance.

That svcks, Draugrs don't have the zombie feel at all. They are more like skeletons, yet we also have those too. They should have replaced skeletons with zombies.
