Are you kidding Bethesda and Carmack?

This is the first time that I preorder a game, wait 2 hours for it to install and after it doesn't work. I can't play. Start new game, and it is in slow motion, I can't even quit the game. And I have a decent PC to run it. AMD 1090t, 8 gb ram adata gaming series v2, ati radeon 5850. First time a game not working on this machine. What is going on Carmack, this is how you develop a game. Months of talking around of how great you are. I want my money back, bethesda, give my [censored] 60 dollars back. Carmack move your ass and fix this game with a patch

At least I could play crysis 2 the first day i bought it. I can't play this game. At the back of the package you can read. System requirements: Gforce 8800 or Radeon HD 4200. It means false statement. I'm not talking about texture or strange effects. The game is slow, 10 minutes to show me the letters at the beginning after the intro video animation. What kind of computer we need to play this game? I preordered the game on Amazon and don't know if I can return it. 60 dollars is to much for something that doesn't work. Why Carmack (that everybody praise as the best gaming programmer) is not saying nothing about this.

Well, it would help if you told us the rest of you PC's specs, as I'm guessing the issue is there, as all the issues people are having is with the game's graphics, NOT performance as far as speed goes. It's more than likely you don't have enough Ram, or you don't have a good enough processor if you're experiencing that level of lag.

Hmm, that's funny, I can play the game now with no issues. Granted when I got the game on Tuesday I was in the same boat as everyone else but with the release of the updated driver the issues are a thing of the past for me. I hope you can get your copy to work ASAP b/c this game is awesome.

Windows 7 64bit fresh install today. Only the game and all the drivers installed, no other programs. My specs as follow:

OS: Windows 7 64 bit
CPU: AMD 1090t overclocked 4Ghz
Ram: 8 Gb Adata Gaming series V2
Graphic Card; XFX HD Radeon 5850 1gb of ram
Hard Drive: WD Caviar black 750Gb

Everybody with an ATI card is having issues after the intro cinematic. I can play crysis 2 without problems, can play The Witcher 2 all options set on Ultra without problems, but cannot play this "awesome" game made by Carmack

I have exact same problem, slomo after intro. Even opening up menu to quit the game takes ages. Tried intalling updated driver for my 5830 but that didn't change a thing. Sigh:(
