ARE YOU SERIOUS ? STEAM DL REQUIRED WITH RETAIL PURCHASE!

Post » Wed May 09, 2012 7:07 am

What the hell? I bought retail because i Don't want the game on Steam If i wanted it on steam i would have bought it through steam. But When i get home to install it it prompts for steam? And now its downloading the game? What the hell? I can't be the only one who is completely pissed off about this. Instead of a 5-10 minutes install now i have to wait for a 3 to 4 hour download because the steam servers are clogged with traffic. [censored] it. I'm so F'ing PISSED!!!

Steam requirement was announced months ago, on the box you bought it must say internet connection required for activation, this shouldn't come as a shock at this point.

It has been known it would use steam for DRM for quite some time now. We are all responsible for researching requirements prior to buying. Would you buy a game for pc without first knowing the required specs? Same thing.

You may discuss Steam or DRM in our open/limited thread http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1253988-unofficial-steamdrm-discussion/ after reading the first post.
