Do areas reset?

Do areas in Skyrim ever reset? I'm not talking just dungeons, but the wilderness as well.

I've played for several game days and I'm beginning to litter the landscape of Skyrim with corpses -- not only that, but it appears that there may be a finite number of creatures. Surely, I have not run the rabbits, deer, hawks, foxes, and wolves of the world straight into extinction?

Also, does anyone know if the raw crafting materials reset as well? (Plants, ore, etc)

I don't know the exact amount are 100% accurate but I have read that cleared areas take 30 in game days to reset and uncleared areas take 10 days to reset. You have to be out of that area for the items to respawn (ie. if you want a towns flowers to respawn do not be in that town for 10+ days?)I do not know what counts as clear / uncleared.

All materials plants/ore will respawn eventually, just give it some time and explore elsewhere and come back within 10-30 in game days or just do a lot of sleeping. lol

Ah, thank you. :) I don't mind the time so much as I tend to get lost for days/hours but I just wanted to ensure that they did, in fact, reset.
