Argonian Werewolves

Post » Fri Jan 07, 2011 9:17 am

Why is it that argonians are able to become werewolves? Human, Elf, and Khajiit werewolves all make sense as they are all mammals like wolves. Argonians are reptiles which are very different from mammals in biology. How come argonian werewolves are virtually the same as mammal werewolves? Magic? Plot hole?

Argonian females have briasts, which are part of mammalian physiology. I've always thought they were mammals with some reptilian/amphibian traits.

I suppose Argonian werewolves make as much sense as Argonians and werewolves.

Argonian females have briasts . . .

I'm pretty sure that can be attributed to the Devs being lazy in Oblivion and using the same retextured bodies for every race. They didn't have them in Morrowind, I know that for sure.

To be honest, MW was the only game that really broke the argonian mold. If anything, the DF and OB argonians are the closest running look, and both females have briasts.

Werewolves? Where... wolves? Men that are wolves? Many wolves, everywhere. Many men.

That is enough for Mai'q.

It's just the same as how a mammal can change to a Wereshark, imo. I see no problem, as a magical disease shouldn't really make all too much sense. It would be a nice thing to see in some in-game books, though. I'd like to see some scholar trying to figure out the same thing.

Really? I didn't know that Daggerfall Argonians had briasts too. Hmmmmm . . . I still like the more reptiallian Argonians.

Well, the DF argonians had briasts (F), but not visible nipbles or genitalia.

Perhaps they were implants to "fit in" with the other more human races?

Why bother? Even if that were the case, they still stand out a lot compared to the humanoid races.
