Argonians: Shiny or Dull skin? : V

I am perplexed. Are there TWO types of Argonian skin?

When you create your Argonian, can you choose shiny or dull skin? It is so odd that the loading screen comes with two versions.
Is that a fluke of video recording? Or Argonians comes with two type of skins? Shiny or dull?

Look at the two videos, I could swear they come with two types of skins!

The shiny skin is actually a separate texture overlay on top of the regular skin. In the second video, the shiny texture simply didn't fully load, so it wasn't displayed.

I quite like idea of Argonians with dull skin in shiny silk pyjamas... Oo, this isn't the thread I thought it was...

So are you saying normally it has the extra shiny layer? And during that load, the GPU was overloaded, so not all graphical parts were loaded and displayed? So it was a fluke of the loading screen? I mean, they
didn't purposely not load it right? But only that at that time (like when lag happens and the game goes into low texture mode) to get better framerate.
