Arguing with a CoD really devoted fan over Skyrim. : V

Well, I was watching some Skyrim footage on youtube when I was in school, he started making comments "That looks like sh*t" "The graphics are awful" "That looks boring"

So I asked him what game he plays, he said "Oh, Call of Duty. It's the best game ever"

I then finish the argument with "Oh, you mean the game that hasn't changed in any way in the past 4 years, takes no skill and rips you off for about 4 hours of single player?"

I hate CoD [censored], with a passion, especially as he insults Skyrim. -_-

I find CoD players boring, tbh. Find another Fan, of another game. CoD fan's are just impossible to reason with.

I love MW3, been playing it all day since monday midnight, i think the whole CoD vs life arguments are petty, its a great multiplayer game, no doubt, its not 2.5 for those calling it that either, graphically it has improved slightly, its a lot smoother than any other FPS.

And guess what, i also love Skyrim, probably more than MW3.

Point of my little rant, you can enjoy more than one genre.

good that you like it, why else would you buy it.
but my issue with it is that the game is prety much cod 2 (wich pretty much is cod 1) and the players get mostly treated like [censored].(and people keep buying those **** DLC maps :banghead:

Yeah, you can love MW3, I obviously don't have a problem with that.
But when you get people insulting Skyrim when they've never played it, and then comparing it to CoD. It's just irritating.

Yeah, the majority now that follow CoD are literally 12... Shame, everyone gets tarred with the same brush, funny though wasn't so mainstream back in CoD 4 days, when i was playing since launch then too...

man fps games sure have allot of novice gamers these days. What happened to the good old days of Goldeneye and Tom Clancy and (saving the best for last) Tribes. Now kids play CoD and BF3 and think their leet.

True, for the most part. That game is simply living off its name, and has been doing so for some time now. No idea why it's still so popular, when all they do is take last year's version, re-skin it, and then charge you another ￡40.

CoD: MW3 is a mindless run-and-gun shooter, which explains it's popularity to the masses. It's a casual, arcadey FPS.

Battlefield 3 uses actual tactics and a takes place in every theater of war using every conceivable weapon.

I like to compare Battlefield Games to Saving Private Ryan/Patton.

And I compare COD games to Rambo.

I have the new CoD and Battlefield games and they are looking good, but they cant be compared with games like TES due to that TES games are a totaly open world while CoD and BF is just small areas so of course they can add more goodies and bigger detailed textures in those games. But i cant compare them with SKYRIM yet due to i have to wait 9 hour more before i can play SKYRIM, then i will let you know what i think.

When it comes to game play CoD and BF has no chance in hell, they look bland and boring next to TES series.
