I have seen some folks discussing what the best armor for Boone is in other threads, but I thought it might be nice have a comprehensive thread describing which armor folks use for EACH companion, whether for style or protection. I mean, I could stick Arcade in the same combat armor I use for Boone, but it just looks funny on him to me. Here's my companions' wardrobe to date:

Boone – Combat Armor. Haven't gotten his quest armor yet.
Veronica – Brotherhood Power Armor and a Boomer Aviator Cap (whatever it's called).
Arcade – Still trying to figure out what would look good and give better protection.
Cass – I like her default outfit too much to change.
Raul – Ditto. I'd steal the Petro Chico jumpsuit if I could, and changing out of the Vaquero Outfit would be sinful.

Since I have so many suits of Power Armour, this is the list so far:
Boone:Salvaged Power Armour with Beret
Veronica: Full suit of T51b
Arcade: Gannon Armour
Rose: Full suit of T-45d complete with Oh!Bady
Raul: Full suit of Remnant Power Armour.

When FOMM become stable I would port Tribe Power Armour back and give it to Rose, complete with Fiend Helm.

This is a whole new side of Arcade I have never even considered. I was still kinda hung up on the nerd vibe, thanks to his appearance here and his voice actor being the guy from Chuck.

I took Boone's beret and gave him a Sheriff's hat and he equipped it for a moment. I didn't care for the look though.

Okay, I decided Arcade needed a space suit. It goes well with the First Recon Beret, too, and he needed a hat more than I did.

Boone- 1st Recon Survival Armour. Before that I think NCR Face Wrap Armour. Looks awesome with his beret and some glasses.

Cass- Bounty hunter duster and sun glasses. Really want to give her sheriff's hat or desperado hat, but she doesn't wear them. Tried to give her ranger casual outfit, but she refuses to use it again.

Veronica- Well I used her only to get me in to BOS bunker and then left her back at the 188 outpost. Anyway I gave her BOS power armour, now I feel more comfortable, knowing that she is well protected standing there alone.

I haven't played yet with other humanoid companions, but doubt I will. Don't like mutants or ghouls. May be I will try Arcade Gannon.

Neither do I... but this particular ghoul is kind of cool (unlike Lenny).
