I use the Steed stone. More carry weight+ no weigh down from Heavy armor!

I only have a mod added hood on that is armor. The rest is a robe, gloves, and long fine boots.

Brown plain clothes with a brown hood, boots and gloves.

nightingale armor with ancient assassin gloves for my thief/assassin

for my warrior character its full dragonplate with various skill enchantments put on it, or the heavy dawngaurd set with enchantments for marksman and one handed damage (gotta make that crossbow use less ammo somehow)

Steel Horned Helmet, Ironhand Gauntlets, Steel Cuffed Boots and Steel Plate Armor, as well as a Silver Garnet Ring and an Amulet of Dibella.

Royal Vampire Armor/Gloves/Boots and the Aetherium Crown.

Nightingale Armor looks stunning! It is probably one of the best sets of armor in the game (in terms of looks)
Daedric also looks great!

Ginger (Nord): Dragonscale Armor (Legendary)
White-Cub (Kajiit): Steelplate Armor (with enchantments that increase magicka and heavy armor skill)
Jikros (Argonian): None. As a mage, he wears Necromancer Robes, as it offers the best magicka bonus so far. Also uses Oakflesh spell for armor, as powered by the perk with increases its power if no real armor is equipped.
Yellow (Orc): Thieves Guild Armor (improved, but I don't remember by how much).
