Do you guys use them ? Do you think they're useful ?

followers are more of a nuisance than help to me since i play a stealth character at the moment, even with mods

Never use them, armored trolls seem kind of ridiculous to me.

Where/how do you get this?

You can get them at the Dawnguard fortress.

They are pretty much destroyed by fire spells within 5 seconds. On the other hand - Bran is the best dog in the world.

Tried three of them all were incredibly stupid, as in jersey shore level stupid.

Not worth the coin IMHO.

Well be careful when a Dragon attacks, earlier during the main quest Odaviing chomped him and he died. Dragons focus on Trolls first. Other than that they are great, the look cool, and fight really well. Problem is they move very slowly so by the time you go into a camp to fight enemies he will join half way through. In dungeons though, he is very useful.
Also when you go to a peace council at High Hrothgar you just have to have a Troll guard.

Not to derail the thread, although I've never watched the show, I think it is offensive to drop a bunch of New Yorkers in Jersey and call that Jersey. I'm from Jersey City and we are nice people, New Yorkers are a bunch of rude dikes.

Well when people refer to jersey shore of course they're referring to the people who the show focuses on regardless of where they're from. People sympathize with Snooki for some stupid reason but she is always causing her own problems and they say she shouldn't get any consequence for it, like people shouldn't get pissed cause she apparently goes and cheats on them all the time. I've seen a few episodes with my sister and, they are truly idiots who are famous and paid for being idiots. If they had just an ounce of brain matter the show would never have been popular I'm sure lol.

Example of their idiocy, I saw a guy get pissed in another country and slams his head into the wall, not knowing in that country the walls are made of stone or some crap like that. Anyways, he decides to do it again but harder and knocks himself out.

That probably is on par with these trolls, but maybe even a little below. The trolls I'm sure won't sit there hurting themselves...

The trolls I hear are far more useful than death hounds. Death hounds die very easily, and I'm pretty sure they don't get replaced.
They shoulda made it so death hounds can come back to life in the castle after a few days since they aren't really hounds, I dunno what they are. Demon dogs? Like Inuyasha? xD

But they coulda made it so a rituals could be done to make more if you got death hound collars or something. Vampires attack you with them, why do you only get 2? Vampires already don't get any followers.

So, at least the trolls are better than that lol
