[REQ] Armored Hoods

Post » Mon May 14, 2012 3:53 am

I always thought it was stupid that if you wernt wearing an ENTIRE set of light armor, you didnt get the +25% light armor bonus. I had to take my hood off and replace it when i learned this. I hate helms myself, so this is pretty lame.

What i propose is to have hoods added to the leveled lists for merchants that have the classification "light armor" and "heavy armor". That way, if we want, we can still wear a hood (and look like a badass theif/assassin) with out wasting a perk. Should be an easy mod, but i have no skill so...

(after thought)

While i was writing, i got the idea for literally armored hoods. Like glass hood, elven hood, chain hood. Gives a lesser armor rating then its actual helm counter parts, but perhaps more enchantments, like +pickpocket or +stealth.

Can't you enchant a hood to have shield...same effect I think.

You can enchant an item, but that doesn't make it light armor or heavy armor so that you can use it with out wasting the perk that you take in the armor tree of your choice.

You can use hood or the circlets or headband models and just give it an armor value and weight as soon as we has the editor.

This.

It'd be nice to have some models that show the head that are marked as light or heavy armor for sure.
