Now to program my Logitech G15 to do all of the repetitions.
I didn't know anyone else owned those. ;)

One thing to note is that player filled soul gems don't get a new id when they're filled in vanilla.

I probably wasn't going to go that route anyway, since I want magic weapon crafting to be different than enchanting anyway. I think it could be done without souls or soul-gems at all. Give a nice alternative to players with a concern about consuming souls. I could invent a new power source.

Imo Stormsword looks better than Storm-sword

How about Winter for frost.

I would recommend an s at the end of jink. Jinksblade instead of jinkblade.

If use "of the Atronach."

No hyphens.

Enervating (weapontype) for stamina damage.

Hexblade seems appropriate for magic damage.

I was thinking Hex or Spirit for Magicka absorb.

For stamina damage I could use Viper to keep the name format in-line with the rest of them. I would still need separate ones from absorb and damage though.

Slightly off topic, but I finally got the new imperial spatha working!
files will be up shortly

Edit: http://www.4shared.com/file/BV055luU/imperialsword.html

Just put them in vanilla form to see if they work first. I'm not sure about the descriptions, but all the textures you've already done should still work(didn't touch the textures on the model at all)

And this time, it's not the world's deadliest skateboard :P

Still unsure about what to call weapons with damage stamina, absorb stamina and banish. Maybe venom & viper?

Are all three meshes the same?
no, they're not. they're the first person sword, the third person sword, and I have no idea what the third one is. it's labeled "imperialswordgo" so I went ahead and replaced the mesh on that one too. Figured it was used in there somehow
Edit: DON'T Download the meshes quite yet-I just spotted a bug. the meshes for the weapons aren't showing up when NPCs use them. I'll see if I can fix that, then reupload the files

minor hint:back up your sword files before you install the new stuff
Well, that's the difference between the three .nifs? I use one mesh for everything in my mod.

The shape looks great. I will have to modify the textures though. Your model is narrow enough that the edge portion of the blade gets cropped out. Unless it's possible to change the UV map.

Well, ok then. if that works
BTW, I figured out what was wrong with it. Looks like I have to do some minor tweaking to the .nif files. The 1stperson sword is fine though, if you want to go ahead and use that.
I don't get why they use three meshes-they just do. If you know how to make it work with just one, all the better
btw, here's the fixed files:
http://www.4shared.com/file/9r6Tver1/imperialsword.html
http://www.4shared.com/file/1BQdxG21/1stpersonimperialsword.html
http://www.4shared.com/file/oiemZQ4C/imperialswordgo.html

I don't know about the UV map, as Nifscope won't let me open them > :(
On a side note, Sunder's mesh is now done. If you want to start work on it, I can figure out how to do a UV map ASAP
