arrows vs mammoths? : V

I can't hit a mammoth from long range? I adjust my bow in any way I can but I can't hit these fat things. What gives? I don't wanna fight these melee!

How long are you away from it? Arrows seem to despawn after a certain amount of distance.

You should be able to. I'm majorly an archer and I killed a Mammoth done last night, a few them in fact.

It's a glitch, at long ranges arrows and spells will fly through enemies having no effect. Mammoths are just the most noticeable situation for this.

a youtube video showed that if tactitaolly use rocks to your advantage, you can easily defeat them (just gota run for a bit)
