Arrows not dissapearing

Post » Mon May 14, 2012 7:33 am

So I got shot in the head with an arrow and it won't go away. I tried saving and reloading, sleeping, waiting for 24 hours, taking all my gear off and putting it back on to no avail. I'm hoping there is some fix to this because I don't want to have to wait for a month or longer for a new patch, in which case I would start a new character which would be annoying as well, because I'd need to save every two seconds just in case I got shot in the head with an arrow. If I'm missing something, or if someone else is having this problem please let me know.

I registered here to say that I have the exact same problem. Tried everything. I have 2 arrows sticking out of my chest, and it is kinda annoying and breaks the immersion. Is there a fix, or do we have to wait for a patch? I don't want to start over because of this...

I'm getting the same problem, I have a single arrow sticking out from my characters lower rib. I realise this isn't really game breaking but its something thats distracting me often and just removes from the immersion. If there is any sort of bug fix that would be great.

I have the same problem with a frost shard(from a spell) and I have tried: waiting, save/load, save/quit, fast travel and entering a new area.

I guess I'm particularly unlucky. I have an arrow AND a damn ice pick stuck on me. I've loaded it back before that happened quite a few times but i still keep getting them stuck over and over and over. I'm really getting irritated with it and I don't want to wait a whole f"ing month for an update to fix it.

Kinda odd, but a fix to this is to get shot by more arrows...

I noticed it when I was fighting a bandit. But now I have a arrow in my leg instead hehe...

After I got shot by some arrows the ice-shard dissapeared along with them. Could work for others too.

i had this problem the only way i found to get rid of it is to let an enemy archer shoot you a couple of times and the arrow should dissapear

To make it worse, sometimes guards will go:
"I used to be an adventurer like you, until I took an arrow in the knee"

Me: 'Let me guess. Its still in there.'

Lol more bugs? I am SHOCKED!!!!!!! They should get their act together, the quest breaking bugs are worse than these though as these ruin immersion but the quest breaking bugs ruin the whole game. Bethesda's QA testers must be a joke or extremely lazy. Or is it because they rushed it out to coincide with a ''CooLzZzZZz'' date. Ohhhhhh alot of elevens, ''CoOoOoL''. DISGRACE!

do you realize that Skyrim is actually the most polished game they have made so far? Lol imagine Oblivion when it was released.

Just registered to bump this - I've got an arrow through my characters head and a giant ice shard on his left shoulder. Very annoying.
