Arrows not hitting long distance targets.

Ok, let me start by saying how impressed I am with this game, it's exceeded pretty much all of my expectations and keeps surprising me over and over again.

I do have about 3 issues though, my main one is that my arrows don't seem to hit all long range targets, even when I'm shooting on target. I was outside a giants camp outside of Whiterun and drew my bow back, aimed slightly up but not too far and zoomed in which also slows time. I release my arrow and I see it reach it's given target yet it deals no damage whatsoever, all that happens is the little red skull icon appears on my compass and my target gets all angry and restless. I really don't know why it's doing this, I figured it might be due to the arrows exiting the draw distance range but if that's the case, why can I still see what I'm shooting?

Another really minor problem is being unable to jump while sprinting, it would add another bit of depth to sprinting if it was in.

One more thing, why are there so few birds? After an hour of hunting I managed to find one hawk (which I killed), I'd like to see a few more flying round to mix up my hunting sessions a bit.

Overall my favourite TES game yet, these are literally my only problems, had no texture bugs, crashes, long load times and no annoying glitches. Great job Bethesda!

Anyone else have any of these problems?

I'm having the arrow problem as well, hopefully it'll get fixed in a patch soon.

Thank Talos someone else is having it too, it's so annoying, it thought it was just my aim but I knew I was on target!

Why do some arrows fly really off target? I'm thinking it's because I'm using cheap iron arrows but wtf?

I've noticed when you're moving, the arrows go slightly off target. I'm talking more about them just not dealing damage even when they're perfectly on target at a long range.
