"You’ll find that the priests of Redguard Divines such as Tu’whacca, Zeht, and Ruptga have an active presence in Hammerfell."

Hooray!
Otherwise, not much that excites me in this one. Could've picked better questions I guess.

What are you going to do when nobody plays your side because they all want to be pretty elves, cat people or Vikings?

Most polls have shown that DC is about even with AD and of course EP leading them both in popularity.

Yay... 10 people out of 60 people on these forums will play Daggerfall Covenant... yeah, them's a good sample of the population right there.

I'm going to venture a guess that about 85% of the people who will play ES:O probably will not give a damn about the faction story and will want to just create a character they like. And I can EASILY guess that 99.85% of the people who will play ES:O are not reading these forums right now, let alone participating in polls.

Interesting how some poll data from a different topic is taken as gospel with 100% accuracy and other poll topics are dismissed using the same arguments that were defended against in the poll thats taken as gospel.

Pretty convenient, just sayin.

Yeah I agree. I made a similar point in another thread how I think that MMO players who are not very familiar with TES Lore might more likely pick other factions than Ebonheart and the real balance after launch will be a lot closer than what we see now in forum polls.

But yeah getting off topic a bit. Anyways I plan on playing DC at launch so nice to get a bit of info, just wish they answered more Q's or went deeper in depth. Oh well, will just wait patiently for more info as always.

DC is the "human" faction I think its safe to say that many joining TES will pick humans. And we have Orcs what more could you want?

I wouldnt call it human faction as Bretons are half breds - but the same thing can be said about Dominion, two Mer races. the most different is Ebonfilth with their toxic mixture pf promisculity, snow eaters and hissing slaves.

Bretons are not Half. The Mer blood thats in them is from the Merethic Era. Its like me, a white male, saying im Turkish because of some distant relative thousands of years ago.

I mean as it would appear to someone who don't know about the lore.

if they were mating between each other from the moment they became half Mer then they are still half Mer - if they dilluted with blood of even lesser races then yes, they would stop being half Mer
bust most probably majority kept themselves to the rest of breton simpletons

...it is. Good thing I'm not one of those people you mention. Please do not stereotype people... it's very ignorant thing to do. :P

I hate polls universally, even if the results happens to be in my favor, as none of them are accurate. The only ones that are accurate are the ones who can actually interview the entire audience as a whole. Select groups never work.

You've never played WoW, or any other MMORPG... have you?

People who are unfamiliar to the lore go for either the "pretty" races or the big bad-ass race. In WoW they didn't go Humans, they went Night Elves... when the Burning Crusade launched, they went Blood Elves. Orc's MIGHT'VE had a chance... but they just look like green-skined humans with tusks. Nothing bad-ass about them physically speaking. Anybody unfamiliar with ES lore will probably go Nord instead of Orc because they get the best of both worlds, Pretty and Bad-Ass.

Now many in no way means ALL; Many and all are vary different words .

Many = a lot

I don't believe a lot will join DC.

The way you're now attempting to re-word it is to say that "Some people will join DC." ...which is kind-of a "duh" statement that didn't need to be pointed out.

Sure... there will be some playing DC, but I'm speculating, based on my experiences with MMO's and people, it will be approximately 10-20% of the ES:O population - at best case scenario. That's me being optimistic... which I believe it will be more towards the 10%.

Sure about that? When WoW was released humans were the most popular race followed by night elves. When blood elves were introduced they got very popular and shared in 2010 the first rank with humans (both about 18%). I dont how it developed the last 2 years. Maybe humans lost some ground but I can't imagine they left the TOP3. Humans are always in almost every fantasy game one of the most popular races and there are reasons for this.
Btw the least popular race in WoW were always dwarfs^^

Hmmm...I actually liked this Ask Us Anything. They arefinally getting smarter about tying in the lore together. Seems our backlashes had an impact. Don't want to piss off the lore community(arguably the most passionate fanbase for the IP itself, not necessarily the mechanics).

I liked how they tied the Reachmen into the conflict. Just a seemingly small thing like that has given me some hope for this game.

Yeah also DC has Orcs. For my online friends coming from WoW who all play on the Horde, Daggerfall Covenant will be the easiest sell of all the factions. The whole MMO players will flock to the pretty races is simply wrong as evidenced by the popularity of the Horde in WoW as well as creature races in many other MMO's. So for the people I MMO with faction considered to have the pretty races will be the last choice when it comes to factions.

I'm sticking to my opinion that at launch the factions will be a lot closer than what current forum polls are showing.

Yeah I recon all we be about even and besides its a megaserver; so lets just assume for one min it gets 5 million subs(dont argue numbers its just exaple), even IF DC falls behind having only say 18% thats still 18% of 5 million players.

However I still think it will go Pact>Covenant>Dominion Skyrim gave the elves a bad name lol.
