"No. You can master all the tradeskills with one character if you so choose. However, that is a significant time and skill point investment and you will be ignoring other parts of your character. We discussed having a tradeskill maximum, but people create secondary characters to get around this limitation anyway, so we felt it just wasn’t worth it to limit this freedom."
SWEEEEETTT!!!!
Thanks for the link. *Gives Leperchans back his pot of gold he snatched away earlier that day*
A question;
If you spend enough time on your main. Can you master all skills? And have the passives at use? Like a master of everything
Oke, so far their is max skill point that you could get?
The question then is, how far can we go? What percentage can we get, and what percentage do we need to be prepared to leave aside for now.
Really like that we can learn all the crafting skills. As someone who isn't often that into crafting, this will let me pick and choose which ones i find i like best without having to learn and unlearn things. Can just start one and move on to another if I don't like it.
That's disappointing, going to be a lot less character diversity and trading in the world now since everybody will master every single skill. With this decision pretty much everything you craft will be absolutely worthless because everyone else in the server will be making it as well. I don't really see any reason to put any effort into crafting now because I could probably buy the items in the auction house for spare change.
Personally, I like being self-sufficient and have tried to do so in every mmo that I have played. I would have made alts just to cover the other three crafting skills anyway if I had to - like a lot of people probably would have. I am glad the devs took this into consideration and made this new change.
i don't craft, i find it tedious and boring.
Did you even bother to read past the first sentence? In order to max all the skills, you will have to divert skill points away from combat points....no, a Master of everything is going to be a rare thing.
Yep,and even still, like the quote says, if someone wants to master all the crafting skills they will anyways regardless if its on multiple characters or just one. Everything else associated with crafting is still there, the social and economic aspects will be unchanged.
Guess you didn't read the article then. They said that there is a max limit of skill points in the game and it's impossible to master both crafting and fighting at the same time. So not every single person is going to be able to be masterful in everything. If you only dedicate yourself as a crafter then you will be able to unlock everything, but you would be a very poor fighter since you will have less passives/active abilities. And this works vice versa also, if you want to be a very good fighter you are going to limit yourself on how much you can be a crafter.
This just shows that people don't read anything about this game and just pick apart what people say on the forums and just make baseless posts. I encourage people to actual inform themselves about this game before posting some ridiculous posts.
Well the crafting community wont be that good anyway as you can have more then one character. Players would just level up multiple characters until they can craft everything them self anyway so.
