Why not do what Carbine devs do, come to these forum and do a live q&a. There game is in beta and coming out later this year so it's not as if they are not in the same situation as ZeniMax.
This is my point about ZeniMax and how they actually interact with their potential player base, ask us anything isn't actually what it says on the tin lol.
It's should be "ask us anything but you wont get an answer" lol.
Don't worry though because they will pick out the lore questions and feed you with those answers.
Time to get a bit more flexible ZeniMax.
No doubt the faithful will have something to say about the above.
Maybe getting back to answering some new questions than those which are slight variants on questions asked before. It's cool that they've got this weekly news article going on but they water it down with rehashing questions and answers. That's what their Twitter feed is for, surely.
I would actually like to know if there are level specific areas in each country or it leveling is more dynamic than that now I come to think of it.
I did actually ask them this question a little while back but it hasn't been featured yet (surprise), I want to know what the uses of the Provisioner are. What will be gained from these foods? Is there going to be hunger and thirst mechanic implemented into the game?
I would like to see that happen, that would be quite cool. And then the mods step in and lock it once the first 8 pages are filled with spam from old questions.
Brian Wheeler (Lead PvP Designer) sort of did that the other week when they were doing the ESO All-Star Podcast. He was in the Twitch chat room and people were asking him questions the whole 2 and a half hours of the podcast and he was answering a few of them. Now it would be better if they fully organized an actual event like this though.
If this was a Fallout MMO I would say they should add this, but it's a TES MMO. From my recollection that hasn't been implemented in any of the other TES games.
You've peaked my curiosity, why would it be applicable for a Fallout MMO but not a TES MMO? What would be the key differences? And yes, hunger has only ever been implemented with mods.
Indeed, ZOS seems to be treating ESO like Bethesda treated the disappearance of the Dwemer. We are only getting a few bits at a time and have to come to our own conclusions.
I think at E3 and after we will start getting a lot more information. I do hope they start releasing more videos like the crafting one soon.

In terms of keeping with tradition, yes, I see you point. But there's no reason why it shouldn't be there. You have food and drink in the previous games TES games and TESO. It's wouldn't exactly be game breaking to include that mechanic.
Mmm, but as it says in the article, it doesn't actually have any addiction mechanics in-game. It's only in the lore.
Look at the article again. No addictive effects in any of the games. Fair point on the felldew though, I forgot about that.
It says right there, "In game, Skooma behaves like any other potion. It is not addictive in any way, and has no permanent ill effects."
Thank you, I forgot about felldew. Sadly, it works only during one quest.
Actually, hunger and thirst haven't been part of the fallout series. Obsidian stuck it in 'hard mode' for New Vegas, but other than that, it was never a meaningful part of the game. I think FO1 would randomly do a check once to see if you had a water bottle on you, but all it did was drop you out of fast travel to tell you the character was thirsty. It didn't actually have any real effect.
But anyway, I hope that there are some real, meaningful questions this time. They seem to like answering the really boring (and obvious) stuff that people send in.
