The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was a game which I invested countless hours into after purchasing it on the first day of its release in 2011, but the excitement of it has since worn off after experiencing most of the main quests, exploring all the cities and testing almost all the various character builds one could possibly think of. Whilst Dishonored releases in a couple of days along with countless other great games later this month and onto the approach of Christmas, such as Call of Duty: Black Ops, I don't see any potentially great RPG games (unless some have slipped under my radar) in the pipeline. It is because of this that, whilst I certainly don't intend on playing it as religiously as previously, I feel it is worth returning from my roughly 4 month period of hiatus from the game. However, I feel that I really must give role-playing its first proper go because, unlike other games, Skyrim doesn't really let you define your character through set actions within the game (such as choosing to side with the bad guys or the good guys) and instead relies on your own imagination and interpretation of things. In my opinion, this is both its biggest flaw and biggest attraction. Regardless, many users here suggested that I base a role-play off of something which interested and, consequently, I choose Assassin's Creed. As a video-game and history love, Assassin's Creed is simply amazing! I want to make a character build inspired by this great franchise, so does anyone have some recommendations as to how I should go about this?
