So I have 2 machines with 2 copies of the game. One machine, mine, is an nVidia based gaming rig which has 0 issues playing the game from launch. The other computer which has a 6790 does a CTD immediately after the meteor intro. I have tried all the fixes in the posts on steam forums and here. I tried the numerous rageconfig.cfg file attempts. I have tried numerous driver installs. All this takes a lot of time to do properly, especially the driver re-installs, and so far since launch I have experienced the exact same constant problem. It is not a hardware issue since every other game that computers steam account works perfectly fine. I even put my nvidia in that machine and it works fine so I know for a fact it is that video card/drivers that is the cause but the video card is not broken etc. I cannot afford to go buy another video card so that is not an option before anyone even bothers mentioning.

I have now gone so far as to completely re-install the operating system, amd drivers 11.10, steam, Rage and it still instantly CTD immediately after the meteor video. I was only able to get the game running 1 time and the video was 2 FPS so I waited for patch. I have been pretty patient with ID and AMD and believe by now the game should be in a working state for people who have the minimum/recommended hardware listed. I have over 20 years of computer building experience and I have pretty much exhausted everything I can think of to get this game to even run. Hell would be nice to even see the 2 FPS again because then at least I know its working lol. If anyone has any ideas it would be great because I really cannot think of anything more to attempt passed all the ideas/tweaks/fixes/help on all the forums much to the thanks of those willing to share their attempts/results to help us out. The other problem I have is if I use 11.10 drivers it causes a lot of problems with various other games and Minecraft refuses to even run with that driver installed meaning I have to go back to 11.9.
