Anybody try the Atronach perk with the Vampire Lord yet? seems like that would be a nasty combination if it worked properly. I have always heard the Atronach perk had some nasty side effects with conjuration spells and some of the shouts so I have always avoided it. I would like to know if the VL's gargoyle spell is effected or not.

It indeed Is. Standing stones carry over in VL and WW form

He was talking about the alteration perk but that also carries over I believe.

Are any of the Vampire lord's spells effected by the Atronach perk/stone? Is the Gargoyle spell effected?

The reason why I ask is the Atronach ability keeps you from casting certain conjuration spells like familiar, flame atronach, etc.

The atronach stone is bugged, and you can actually absorb your own summons. Any summoners should avoid it like the plauge. I am not sure, but i would think that it affects VL form as well...

Oh, so thaaat's what was happening......... well that explains a lot of deaths and random magicka full-restores when trying to summon dremora lords. xP

yes it carries over into that form, although it does bug your summons
