So incase you haven't heard G4TV's Attack of the show (@aots) is getting canceled and if your a fan post your thoughts and feelings below

i for one am angry about this g4 still shows alot of cool things, just not enough so I hope they bring in something better to replace it

Show died along time ago along with G4 itself.

they still show cool things, they just need to replace all the damn cop shows with gaming shows or something like that

Its about time, G4 is a terrible channel.

I use to enjoy it but it got worse and worse over the years. I've always enjoyed Adam Sessler and Morgan Webb but even they were dragged down by G4.

I always thought Adam Sessler was a bit of a loud-mouthed bafoon. I personally never got into G4...all of the same information is available on the web in a more efficient format, IMO. To each their own, though. I'm sure I watch stuff that other people don't like.

I remember when it was tech TV, then it became gamer channel, then they ran out of gamer stuff so they became nerdy, then they thought nerdy chic wasn't working so they said "you know what, let's just show cops 300 times a day, because whatever"

yep i hate that in the future i plan on buying g4 and airing better shows COME ON G4 THERE IS A REASON THAT NO ONE ELSE SHOWS COPS

Some people could definitely see it that way, just like some people see G4 as a terrible channel, have to love the world of open opinions.

I still watch Reviews on the run but the channel is pretty much dead.

I can understand that. He can be very "passionate" about his opinions sometimes. Still even if I didn't agree with him I could at least respect him. I got into X-Play and G4 mostly because it was nice to finally see someone talking about video games on tv.

And DirecTV got rid of it here so I didn't notice either

...along with almost every other channel on TV. Most of them fill the majority of their airtime with low-rent reality shows now (most of which I can't watch for more than 5 minutes without thinking that I can actually feel myself aging).

That feel watching G4 back in 2006 and watching Call For Help and learning buttloads about PC tech.

Me neither, haven't watched a gaming show since I was 13 or 14.

Damn those young kids with their loud music and flying cell phone scooters.



Yeah, that's basically what Attack of the Show was. Internet information formed in a TV show with annoying hosts.


Does anyone remember when G4 was Tech TV and X-Play was originally called Extended Play? Wasn't too long ago and that's round about when Attack of the Show premiered. Back with Olivia Munn whom was the sole reason the show was worth watching. Attack had her and X-Play had Morgan Webb. The show was alright but I just couldn't ever get into it. it was always painfully obvious that the hosts were reading teleprompters throughout the entire thing and had no idea how to deliver their prewritten jokes. Although the hosts still svcked, I think the show improved a little later on.

X-Play was alright but I didn't like their system. I don't think you can give a decent enough review within a 1-5 rating system. They always gave good games a 4, bad games a 2, and everything else got a 3. That was it.



Attack of the Show was about tech. They had another show on the channel dedicated to gaming.
