im looking for a bit of advice/information
i did the dragonsreach quests and became thane etc, visited the grey beards, and then traveled to solitude as it is nearish to the next quest for the grey beards, while in solitude i did a few quests for the main npc's there (necro cave, vampires, and placing a horn at a shrine)
now everything was fine until i went to go back to dragonsreach to see the guy about buying the house, i entered the building and then all the npcs turned hostile and attacked me (i had weapons sheathed, wearing elven armour)
basically i wanted to know firstly why did they attack me, and secondly is there a way of stopping them as id quite like to be able to buy the property, my only guess is by doing the quests at solitude i somehow offended the people at dragonsreach, but i have no idea
and help and information would be great, thanks.
is this a bug or am i doing something wrong?

PS i just read on another sites forums that someone else has had the same problem with dragonsreach npcs, but from a slightly different series of events from mine, though they also dont know why, or how to stop it from happeneing.
