The Short - US Airways lost my luggage containing my XBOX 360 and games (including XCOM) and denied all liability.
The Long - After returning from a work trip in DC, I was forced to check all of my bags by the airline due to multiple delayed and rescheduled flights (this was during the blizzard in the North-East at the beginning of February.) I had checked two bags - one made it, one didn't. After filing paperwork, hours of phone calls, and waiting for several months, I received a letter from US AIRWAYS stating that they are "only liable for clothing and toiletries," and refuse to compensate me for the rest of my property which was lost while under their custody.
Like many of you here, games are how I unwind at the end of the day. I don't sit down on the couch and watch reality shows, I fire up my XBOX or PC. This is why I had brought it with me on a two week business trip.
I am 33 years old, and had played through Dishonored once, and was in the middle of my second play through (which I started on my trip.) I hope to replace Dishonored in the future, but haven't been able to yet (luckily I left Skyrim at home, and can play it!)
I am calling all gamers to join me in avoiding US AIRWAYS if at all possible. I certainly will be!
Thank You all for listening.
