Biggest thing I took from that AUA:

Yeah sounds like even if you buy a NA or EU version of the game you can play on the server you want. I wonder though is that a one time change/decision or can you switch back and forth?

I hope it's something that you can change back and forth if you want too. It would be neat to finally be able to play with my EU brethren.

I liked the comment about there actually being different types of weather in ESO!

I wish they would have asked though if the wind moves the trees and grass, and if players moving through bush and grass also make them move....

That's the biggest thing you took away? I took away the fact that it won't let you make a profile for your character, but such an add-on is possible to make by the community. Who knows, maybe an add-on is possible to see chat bubbles too?

Ya the EU and NA thing was the only really new thing that I saw.

Its good to hear. Hopefully latency won't be too bad playing across servers.

Hopefully it's integrated into the launcher/client for you to select, with an option to automatically go to the one you prefer or most recently used.

Well not everyone is into RPing and needing character Bios. So as a non RPer yes a game mechanical question would be more appealing than a RP one.

Not only that but we only learned two things about role playing.

1. You can't enter all buildings

2. You can't write a bio in the game without player add ons.

I have to agree with this. While I would love for the devs to devote time to strictly RP elements, I recognise that they can't, and won't, do that. In order for RP elements to be brought into the game above and beyond the standard, we RPers would have to demonstrate why non-RPers would find the mechanic useful. I'm cautiously optimistic about their claim that we "won't be disappointed (or end up looking like everyone else!)." It definitely implies that they're working hard on making sure we look like how we want to, and since their character creation system is as robust as it is I have few reasons to doubt their claims about the armour customisation.

I did find it (shall we say) interesting that they completely avoided the "can we sit in chairs" part of the question, though. I think its safe to say, they're going the SWTOR route and we won't be able to, for some unknown reason. And for those who would argue "they could always add it later," I agree, but why wouldn't they just say that? I suppose its possible it just didn't occur to them to address that part, but somehow I doubt it.

Because I don't care about RP. This AUA really means nothing to me since I don't care about RP. So, yes, that is the biggest thing that I took away from that article, because most of the other stuff in there (including character bios) I don't really give two [censored] about.

I don't understand why people want chat bubbles so bad. They're so obnoxious, but to each their own.

Profile for each character is tedius and clunky. Having an "online, not online, do not disturb, etc" toggle you can switch at will is a much better system.

But where will I put my AZ flags, big combat log damages, and tragic back story? Where?

Agree about the chat bubbles though. I always turn them off if there's an option to do so.
