AudioVoice issues

Post » Mon May 14, 2012 5:55 am

Hey guys!

First off may I say what an amazing game so far! However, I'm having some an annoying issue!

So I purchased my Skyrim off Steam and preloaded it into my PC before release.
Then when it released at midnight (Australia time) I had the issue where the game would crash on startup. I found the fix on these forums, by changing the Sound properties to 96000Hz.
However, now the issue I am having is when someone is talking their voice randomly muffles itself (Quite frequently, I might add). I have subtitles on, so I know they are definitely talking.
Any ideas?

I'll try updating my sound drivers, but is anyone else having this issue?

Ive been having the same problem also and nothing is helping to fix it so far. Not even the change that was suggested on the forums. It's quite annoying. It sounds like a terribly washed out and artifact-y game with lots of static and snapping noises. C'mon Beth this is just sad.
