Auto aim fixes

Post » Fri Feb 18, 2011 8:13 pm

I was wondering what if any auto aim fixes people use. To give an example, I hate aiming for something that explodes, and having my bullet magically strike the enemy standing next to said item.

I myself am using auto aim fix, head shot edition (converted from fallout 3)

However, I am wondering what else is out there, and if I might like that more :P

I noticed however bashed patch has its own auto aim fix. Never tried it though. Ah well good to know a fellow head shot user has no issues.

There's auto aim? Well that has to go, pronto! I'll check out that mod you mentioned.

I think the Bash version is based on the mod you mentioned using. I use the bash tweak, seems to be working right.

I'm not having any problems with autoaim in New Vegas, it's seems a lot more streamlined than in Fallout 3..

But yeah the auto aim related settings were different in New Vegas compared to Fallout 3, so the effect was already much less.

Much less, but still very noticeable. I had a couple moments where I fired a shot, and realized I fired to soon, only to find I still somehow struck the target :P

Wow....I found and changed those settings in the GECK myself. And here I thought I was a terrible real-time shot this whole time. Now I'm only a half-terrible shot. LOL
It may be better than it was in FO3 (I wouldn't know) but those setting still make a difference. Sheesh.

This geck info page explains it better than I ever could:
