I'll put it this way, what if consoles did have support for keyboard and mouse in the demo of a game and you bought it specifically because you thought it was going to be in there only to find out that it was taken out of the final product?

How would they get they get their ass kicked every single game? you played the demo, gamepad guys did just fine with the STOCK gamepad aim assists offered in all the 360 FPS's. Also If they had an option to select weather I could join a lobby that allow or didn't allow keyboard and mouse. I wouldn't give to **** personally.

Outside the shooter box you have the ability to make macros for several games to execute a greater variety of commands with ease. You also have many more keys so you can often get to commands in games without going through more extensive menu systems. Greater variety of input devices from multiple manufacturers to fit more individuals style and budget.

At one point Microsoft experimented on combining its service for cross platform gaming, pitting PC gamers against Xbox gamers, and PC Gamers always came out far ahead, even when they tried mediocre PC players vs expert Xbox players.

Yes. I won't argue on which one is superior. That point may be valid, but it still does not change the fact that gamepad users got a game that they cannot compete in due to the removal of the aim assist. You seem as though you are pretty level headed and actually put some thought into your points so i will ask you the same question. lol tbh, i play on a gamepad and i don't really notice a difference NOW....honestly just hone your skills and you will be fine kb/m or gamepad you just need to get your skill lvl up....aimassist was great in demo, well its not here anymore get used to it....and b4 i get flamed i have better accuracy then some of my kb/m friends...just adjust the sensitivity to what fits you, play the game and GET GOOD if you are going to bich and moan about gamepad this auto assist that GTFO we are all gamers, comps are for higher skilled players get skill and stfu

Yes, from where you are coming from I would feel ripped off. To that end, I can understand the decision Crytek made based on feedback, HOWEVER they should be liable for not making it explicitly clear prior to launch that it would be removed. My personal expectation is to use the default device of a platform as well, granted I have not owned a console in some years. I do not think the right solution is putting auto-aim back in the game either, but I think that outside of some other solution, EA should just be offering a refund for issues like this.

If they were to use auto aim in every online fps, why would they even bother giving guns recoil? I find it amusing to see videos of xbox players hip fire an mp5 from across the map and frag someone just cuz their crosshairs were on the target. Pointless.

I am a consumer that played the demo enough to want to buy the game then it came out and it was a different experience than before. I feel ripped off, they can't just take a major mechanic out of the game and think everyone that is effected has to deal with it. I paid money for a balanced game and I didn't get what I paid for.

Think again. There are far more than 6 true gamers who don't need Aim bots to get their kills. There's a sports league out there that really doesn't need help in making their frags. And just because some kids have no talent in gaming or aren't even trying to do the job alone, they cry for help.

You will never be a competition to anyone. Your stats are a pure lie if you don't do it by yourself. I don't care how much you cry for aiming and/or gaming helps. Use them in some singleplayer game (called cheating) but never speak of competition.
