I am on my second playthrough right now and the same thing happened to my friend who is on his first. All three of our autosaves were deleted, and our manual save, resulting in HIM having to restart the mission, but my mission save had been deleted also, resulting in me having to --Restart my entire. Second. Playthrough.--

That I had been ghosting.

Now I cant even autosave, I can only manual save, and it gets deleted.


Why did this happen, and is there a way to fix it because I will return this game if it doesnt keep my saves.

I deleted all the mission saves (I cant believe you guys made it save before every mission, and keep it. Very stupid considering there is a "Missions" option in the main menu) and it is autosaving again. Seems that may fix it, but why did this happen.

Is there a Cloud system with this game? I have not installed it yet on my PC.

When I play games on the consoles, I will periodically back my saves up to an external storage device, either something the console makers supply or a Thumb Drive if possible.

As to why the saves went AWOL, I can't answer that. Perhaps it is a Profile issue, and since Autosave is the same name no matter what profile is loaded, that could be why the autosaves went away.

The mission saves ARE the missions in the main menu. If you delete the mission saves, you will not be able to go to the "mission tab" in the main menu and start a new level based on a specific mission.

These saves are made to save current progress up to a specific mission, rather than basically making a new game starting at a specified mission.

One of my manual saves mysteriously vanished from the load menu. But it still loaded when I chose to load my most recent save after dying.

im having this sort of problem on the PC aswell as a few other people over in the pc section, the save files are still there in the folder but the game just isnt detecting them
