I never truly noticed how grayish the world was but wow. Not to say it's not a beautiful game, but this mod just adds more life to it.

It looks like he's just changing the color saturation.

I don't like it at all. The colors look so much warmer and brighter, it just doesn't fit the theme of the game. It looks more like Oblivion 2.0 (design-wise) than a new TES game.

That is because that is what he is doing.

FXAA Injection is fully configurable. It's possible to make the scene look more dynamic without making it look so warm/blue.

bit too blue indeed
makes it look a bit more like oblivion with it's saturated colors
kind of prefer the original from looking at that video
perhaps it's just what I've gotten used to

Looks ok, but they just put a bluish haze rather than a grayish haze over everything

meh - looks a bit too coloured imo.

I really like the cold harsh look in skyrim. This reminds me too much of oblivion.

I'm unsure of which I liked more, I prefered the saturated one in the towns, but I liked the original in the wilds.

There is a low saturation option which keeps the orginal grayish feel of the game.

I personally decided to get rid of that mod, it didn't feel right to me... like a half assed attempt at making the game look better. I would rather just wait for proper graphics mods like textures etc.

Can't say I like or dislike it. I do like how the original colors give it a kind of Morrowind-ish feel, but if I ever get the pc version I think this would be worth trying when I replay the game.

I was a little intrigued by this mod, but, after feedback here on this thread, I think I'll still with vanilla for now. I think the game looks great already.

I tried it, looks okay, but I changed back to the original graphics. It's a bit too bright for me.

I don't think that video does it justice to be honest, makes it just look very blue. I've been using the mod for awhile now and like the results so far. Using the Low Saturation install option.
It basically just gives everything more color, i uploaded a few before and after scenes for you to check out if you're interested in the mod.

How can I pause the game so I can check out the difference? I'm playing on a 360 controller on my PC.

I prefer the washed out colors. Really supports the setting. Ever looked outside on a cold winter morning? Unless you're somewhere south, you should see lots of fog, gray colors, etc. even if stuff would be more colorful otherwise.

I can see how some would prefer this, but honestly it looks less "real" to me. I prefer the less saturated option although I do use my graphics card's control panel to reduce the screen brightness, to blacken blacks and improve shadows.

This basically does Oblivionize the game. And do what all the Morrowind graphic mods have done. The "grayness", as you describe it, is IMO one of the absolute best things of this series of games. For ONCE everything isn't so nitpicky overly clean, colorful, happy, cheery, 3D-graphic-metal-shiny and light. Until with this mod. SIGH! <_> These colors take the living on hard times and there being a terrifying factor (dragons, war...) involved away, and somehow conveniently medieval-paint-alizes the great color palette I've praised everywhere.

I played around with this mod. Makes things look more vibrant in the day, but don't prefer it at night. I think I'm gonna uninstall it.

Beginning with FO:3, Bethesda apparently decided shades of grey and brown were the only worthwhile colors.

They fit the given locations better than bright yellow, green, and blue.
