So I was out walking around Skyrim in the middle of the night and i saw Babette from the Dark Brotherhood looking at a dead Redguard body. When I walked over to her and started to talk with her she told me how she was excited to see me (I'm the listener) etc etc and that she was hungry and went out to feed on someone. I have played this game for over 350 hours including two characters who were in the Dark Brotherhood and I never had this encounter. It was so awesome.

I've heard this is coming with Dawnguard.
But I never seen it myself. Must be cool. Babette is one of my favorite NPCs.

I think it happened in vanilla Skyrim too.

Yeah I was thinking that too. I figured it should have happened before I got Dawnguard considering how many hours I have but I never got it. I just love those little things in this game. It was really refreshing to see.

I don't believe it did. There was no mention of it until Dawnguard came out.

She did this in Vanilla Skyrim.

This did happen in normal Skyrim, you can often run into npcs from any faction you join. I often see some of the companions off fighting random enemies.

And its included as a random encounter in the official Skyrim guide book.

I haven't come across Babette yet and I have Dawnguard but I have met Farkas a couple of times after he has killed someone in the wilds. (Not joined the Companions yet).

I saw Farkas near Markarth the other day. He ran all the way across the country to kill a bear apparently(and I beat him to it...svcker!)

Yeah, this and lots of other encounters with other "in town" characters. You just have to be in the right place at the right time.
