Anyway, I've recently treated myself to a new laptop, a Samsung RF711 and I was wondering if if was powerful enough to run Skyrim on mid to high settings.

If it runs it on par or better than my PS3 then I'll be chuffed. I'm really looking forward to all those mods

The specs are as follows: Intel Core i7-2670QM CPU @ 2.2GHz 8GB RAM Direct X 11 GeForce GT 540M

I'm also thinking of adding a SSD drive as there's an extra bay for extended storage so I'm assuming this will improve on performance too.
