While I was doing a mission i saved at a very akward place where a explosion went off and killed me as soon as the save completed. As soon as I spawn back the explosion repeats and kills me again this creating a cycle. Is there any way I can get out of it?

Load another save.

Unless you have a window of opportunity to get out of the blast radius.

How do I that

....Well, first you bring up the menu...

And then you go to Load, and there should be an option to load other saves you may have...

if PC the second you get into the game hit the console commands and toggle god mode till the blast is over,

I fixed it.

Last trick, if you get into that situation again.. Is to open your inventory and drug up. Jet, and anything you have to increase your damage resistance. Idea being that you can get some distance between you and certain death.
