Bandits are immortal

Someone help? All bandits have infinite health so i can't kill them. I'm on the PC version and yes, I tried to disable all the mods... Is there a console command to reduce NPC health or something like that?

setessential 0
sethealth 100

Then close the console and hit them.

You should completely un-install your mods instead of disabling them. Who is that bandit? Where is he?

Is this bandit the result of a mod or is it a vanilla bandit?
What mods do you actually have...?

Then don't select anybody and type killall

(Be careful don't do this with friendly NPC's nearby)

I'm doing the Rise in the East quest, in the end when I return to Adelaisa after killing Hadlyn, I need to kill some blood horkers on the way and there was this one bandit that just wouldn't die.... His health bar just stays full :S

My enabled mods are things like armor, weapons. that kind of stuff. I don't have anything that edits bandits.

Are you sure? Not all mods just change certain things. Some mod makers are fairly sloppy and just about anything that can get changed in a game by a mod can get changed in the game by a mod, intentionally or not.

Also, you don't disable mods, you uninstall them. Plus, just because the mods are no longer present, this does not mean that the saves are not messed up that were created when those mods were installed and active.

I will move this to the mods section so you can post your load order.

By uninstall, he means physically remove the files from the Data folder. Skyrim has this weird behavior where it loads the mods even if they are disabled but undeleted when you're loading the game from a save.

Actually, that sounds...kinda convenient? If you're running different characters running different mods - maybe for just gameplay purposes, maybe for play testing - and you don't remember exactly which mode were running with which save, just uncheck them all and load the save. Problem solved.

So it's just one bandit? Have you tested it on other bandits? The one your talking about could be a Boss styled bandit with a huge pool of health added by a mod. Posting your load order though could confirm this.

Or use Wrye Bash :)
When you click on a save in the Saves tab, a panel on the right shows you which mods were active when you made that save, i.e. which masters it has. It's just like when you select a mod and it displays that mod's masters.
