I don't even really listen to their black metal or folk stuff, but they've definitely been around the block (of genres)

What do we consider different genres? I pretty much consider any kind of "metal" to be the "metal" genre regardless of how many sub-genres of metal they cover. As far as bands that do pretty wide crossover...Ween and Faith No More immediately come to mind.

What about neoclassical metal?

Been listening to the British singer-songwriter King Charles' debut a ton recently, and it's broadly definiable as 'folk', but there's quite a few other genres on there: pop, indie rock, afrobeat and even some grime/hip-hop on a couple of songs. Hell of an album actually.

As Bender would say, Beck is "a musician-poet who transcends genres even as he reinvents them."

Laibach pretty much changes genre each album they release.

Murder by Death

Sixteen Horsepower

Both bands are a mix of a little bit of everything. Both are fantastic.
