With the upcoming 1.4 patch fixing "Finding Pantea's Flute before speaking with Pantea no longer prevents her quest from updating"

Will this be fixing the other musical instrument quest issues.

The first item I found was Finn's lute (before being given the quest), upon visiting the bard's college and getting the dialoge that i'd found the lute this is where the glitch began, I was rewarded for doing so but the lute remains in my inventory.

I then went on to complete the quests to join the college and after doing so activated (properly this time) the quests to find Pantea's flute and Rjorn's drum, on returning these items the same thing happened, i was rewarded but the items still remain in my inventory.

Neither of the 3 quests show in my quests journal however i still have the items and can't remove them.

Awesome game btw, 160hrs in and only had a few minor glitches

Well the patch hasn't really fixed the bard issues.

Inge Six Fingers still gives the dialogue that i've found finns lute yet doesnt remove the item from the inventory.
Giraud Gemane & Pantea Ateia no longer give any quest dialogue and again doesnt remove the items from the inventory.

I guess we're stuck with the useless items clogging up our inventory.

Unfortunately, the fix for Pantea's flute was for a problem where her quest would get stuck and not progress properly. The items being stuck in the players inventory is actually a separate issue not addressed in the patch.

I really wish they would address the quest items not being removed properly. Ive avoided those quests due to not wanting them stuck in my inventory, but I do want the skill increases from them.
