Batch editing items?

Before I painstakingly add money costs to every single recipe for forging/refining items...

Is there a way to batch edit entries?
I can only seem to edit one entry at a time, but I want to add the same thing to large groups of recipes at the same time.

I'm not aware of any batch editing available in the CK. My http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Tes5Mod:SkyEdit has some batch editing capabilities but not what it sounds like you need at the moment (only simple fields can be batch edited). Were you just wanting to add a specific item to a group of recipes? For example, add 1 "Leather Strip" to a bunch of selected recipes.

Yeah, I just wanted to add say 500+ gold to each weapon/armor improvement recipe (Increasing with better materials). Then I find a way to remove all XP gains from smithing such that you can only increase smithing by paying trainers. Then remove all material-specific perks, so you don't have to grind to get daedric/dragon/etc, instead you ""buy"" a custom suit. Paying to level smithing would be investing $$$ to slightly improve your gear a little further.

I am trying to "fix" smithing. As it is, either you abuse it (IE use it AT ALL) or you don't use it AT ALL.

...can you add a batch editing for more than simple flags? I mean, I select 10 magic effects, and all of them have the same editable information. Should be fairly easy to pull up a window for magic effects with a bunch of *** in place of the mixed values, and then change that to whatever, and then apply to all selected. It doesn't seem that hard to add. It would save A LOT of time for modding in general I think, not just for my project.

The OP wishes to batch edit the Base Items, not References... that is, things in the Object Window as opposed to the Render Window.

Does the dev team actually use something like the creation kit? This is why Skyrim took so damn long: No batch editing.

Hell, ANYthing with multiple entries. Anything that has the exact same options and properties as something else: you should be able to apply the same changes ergo why the hell not let the editor do mulitple simultaniously?

They have batch editing for JUST references? Seriously? The fuc- --- ugh. Something tells me Bethesda is not going to listen to their fans about the CK just like they don't about their own damn games.
