No Battle Music?

Post » Tue May 22, 2012 8:39 am

For some reason, I don't have battle music, which is a massive turn-off, especially when fighting things like dragons and Ancano. Anyone know why this is happening?

Is there any music at all or does it just not switch to battle music.

It just continues playing the ambient music.

My music switches to intense music when I encounter a powerful foe, and if I encounter a Dragon it switches to the Sons of Skyrim chant we all heard months before release.

This happens to me sometimes. It's a bug when battle music is playing, or not playing, and you transition areas.
The game seems to confuse battle music for whatever music is playing.
So it may think battle music is ambient music.

Sometimes, it may even confuse dragon fighting music for normal battle music.
That happened to me today, actually.

I don't know. Just a strange theory that seems likely. :D

It's not a bug, it's how they intended it to work, battle music comes on on more special occasions such as powerful foes, dragons, bosses or when your health is low, so fighting a simple mudcrab will no longer trigger battle music.

It still doesn't occur, even for the bosses, which is why I'm posting on here...

hmmm that's never happened to me, have you tried reloading? for example during a dragon fight when the music isn't playing.

Having the same issue here. Level 52 and no battle music, even fighting against dragons. :nope:

If you remove your armor during an encounter with no music, chances are the battle music will play (at least on my system). Seems if your gear or your character are too powerful the game thinks all encounters are "Easy".

Tried this, and IT WORKED!!

Guess that having >800 armor makes the game think i'm too strong for even dragons xD
No, seriously, this needs to be fixed. Makes the later game a bit boring. ._ยท
