It's not out until the 21st (on PS3 and 360 anyway, think it's out earlier on PC).

Yeah, it is out today for PC. I might just wait until Steam has an awesome deal if you buy both.

By normal I mean non-Vietnam (As I said in my post...). hardcoe mode is fine. I don't care.

About 2hrs too late for me. I was hoping to start the download before going to work so that it'd be done when I get home. How big is the download? I'm hoping it's not too big so that I'll actually get a chance to play for a decent amount of time tonight.

Took about 1 minute. I'm going to try it out later after i finished with Fallout DLC.

I'm assuming that means most of the content was in the big 1.7GB patch a couple of weeks ago then if it was that quick. Either that or you have an absolutely nuts broadband connection.

Probably the patch. My broad connection is slightly below average for england.

I'm going to try it now anyway.

The patch is 1.07 MB large. Literally does take a minute.

[EDIT]: It's a bit lame though that we've clearly had all the content for a couple of weeks now and just not been able to play it though. I don't really see the point in that.

Well from a few rounds..it's too hard for me I think. I'm way too used to Black Ops and way to rusty with this game. I die on a consistent basis, it's hard to move forward..seems the enemy has about 10x easier aiming and everything than I do. I don't know.

Amazing game. So glad I bought this. I might consider getting Vietnam DLC if there's no interesting sales on steam. I was kicking [censored] ass after a few practice rounds. At first I thought it was the tank, but when two of them couldn't take down my topside gunner and repairman I knew our teamwork was better than their horde. Muahahaha.

Yeah, I've been trying to play, but it's no fun as my entire friends list is filled with people playing Black Ops. And not many strangers like to talk. :shrug:

I'd get on and play since I just bought the game, but I can't download it thanks to less than dial-up speed internet for the holidays.

I tried playing BC2 a few days ago having been playing Black Ops since it came out and found it a bit wierd, but after a game or two I started getting used to it again. It definitely requires a different approach to Black Ops.

I have been really struggling with 'Nam alot. I'll get back to the groove eventually though.

It could have been my team as well, we lost 8 straight matches, and never got past their 1st set of bases and they breezed through ours. Probably why I couldn't do anything without getting shot. That and I'm pretty sure 3/12 people on our team knew how to diffuse and these guys were over rank/level 15. I don't know what was going on. I did have a few nice matches though..I'll try again later I suppose.

I haven't lost a match on rush yet. It just seems every where i go an enemy is behind me. I was top in the server some how last match but i was still doing terrible.

Vietnam is soooo good.

The maps need a few changes, especially to reduce the chokepoints, but the gamplay is awesome.

I've been playing a couple of hours and I'm loving it. The weapons are great, the maps are great, and the vehicles are great. First class expansion.
