What do I mean by that?
There are a lot of good games on Android/iOS, but a lot of them don't use the interface intuitively. Battleheart was made for a touch screen platform, and it excels. So, what exactly is Battlechest?
It's an Action RPG of sorts, where you take a party of four out into various battlefields for cash, loot, and progression. There are 8 or so different characters, all with their own little back stories (including a monty python reference), though they all fall within 3 main categories; tank, dps, support. Speaking of the back stories, they are generally just one or two sentences, though are really well written. Actually, the entire games dialogue/story, which isn't much mind you, is written exceptionally well which is more than can be said about most indie games.
Once you've got your party selected, you drop in different levels and the fighting begins. Enemies spawn off screen and make their way towards you from different directions. Each character has a skill tree that unlocks as they level up, and the skills are hotkeyed at the top left of the screen. So far there has been a nice variety of skills to choose from. You'll have to position your characters throughout the battle to keep enemies off your support characters and focused on your tank. At the end of each level you'll receive gold and a piece of loot. The gold can be used to buy random items at the merchant, which can be equipped to 4 different slots.
The real beauty is how well the game looks and sounds, the art is crisp, its basically a really well drawn cartoon, and the sounds are enjoyable.
If you're looking to kill some time on your phone, you've got to pick up this game.
