So the loading screens say that if you leave bears alone or show no hostile attentions... They leave you alone.


I believe they're all out on a mission to destroy you. Not once have I seen a bear that will just stand there and let me pass. If I come within eye contact or I can see them on my screen it's like they forget all about any tasks or future tasks, making a B-line straight to me.

If I leave them alone, they leave me alone. Even when they're staring at me. I've had one stand up and start growling when I stepped closer, but when I stepped away again he didn't attack.

I think their aggro range is pretty high though, so keep a fair distance. Bears are territorial.

I have the same problem, bears attack me as soon as they spot me. Then again I may spot them pretty late since I play with normal video settings (my PC really isn't that great) so by the time they pop up it may already be too late for me.
