I have solved blood on the ice more than once, but never did figure out what was up with the bed and chairs upstairs.....

yea can someone pls crack the code? The way those chairs and beds are stacked seemed more than just a plain murder case to me. Maybe the killer is trying to tell us something! Its making me crazy!

I thought maybe the killer stashed something up high, but didn't find anything. Maybe the killer tried to hang himself there. Maybe it was just a red herring.

Like Cecli and Abrinth mentioned, it's likely an homage to the curious chair/furniture stacking habits of the ash slaves that served House Dagoth in Morrowind. Their greetings when you ran up to them were seemingly nonsensical ramblings, but then you go to a Sixth House Base and find like ten chairs stacked one of top of the other. That sort of thing.
