What level is everyone? And what difficulty do you play?
I'm a level 18 and play on Novice now as I was getting destroyed on higher difficulties..

Level 43 on master difficulty, the game is officially too easy.
It's just that it's too easy to level up. You basicly don't need to face any danger to progress.

First character 20 on normal, might raise it. Second 14 on the default.

Level 2 (TWO) on default. Still starry-eyed and innocent...

I just got Skyrim today and have played it now for a couple of hours. Overall I like the game so far. Although, it is taking so time to get used to where everything is and how to use it. Incidentally, I have several mods already in place. Mostly textures. I am looking forward to seeing what these wonderful modders come up with.

Stop using every possible skill in the game then... My mage is levelling very slowly because I only focus on the mage skills, and within those mostly on Destruction, conjuration and alteration.

One should always strive to become the optimal being, if the game allows that to be done fairly easy, it's simply too easy. That's just my way of playing.
Not saying I didn't have fun though.

27 with very focused skills (the only skills I tend to use are one handed, block, smithing, and heavy armour) on expert.

Level 21 Female Nord, lightly armored, silver tongued, dual wielding, archer, assassin type character. Generally evil at heart.

Playing on Adept (normal). Have problems facing dragons even with companion. Solo I die a few times!

Hit level 20 a few minutes ago. I'm playing on Adept (the default difficulty) and frequently get killed still.

what build of character are you using. I tried using a barbarian with S+B, archery, sneaking, light armor and NO potions. I found it way too difficult. Not impossible. but certainly frustrating.

Blade 'n' Bone was my first character. He was a Nord barbarian (no magic) who got to Level 8, but he got killed by a pack of bandits.

Started a new character named Thor a'Zyyne. ;) He's also a Nord Barbarian, but he might eventually experiment with magic. He's a little smarter than BnB.

In both cases, I'm going with Adept difficulty.
