Hello fellow forum-ers, Tis I. . . .
Yeah. . .well. . .if you recognize me at all from this forum, you’ve probably noticed the links in my signature to my ebooks. I’m posting this today because I’m ecstatic that after a year-long wait, a major blog reviewed my novella – Nine Ides. The review is http://www.siftreviews.com/if you're curious. . . .

As a bit of background, I’ve dabbled in writing since middle school but never wrote anything substantial until after college. My first book-length story was - *waits for cosmic anvils to descend from on high* - a piece of fallout fanfiction. I wrote it for sheer enjoyment, because I loved Fallout 3, and the concept for the fanfic just wouldn’t get out of my head. So, roughly 105 hours later, I’d written http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1119444-child-of-atom/. And I had no idea what to do with it. . .Until I came here. . .

Bethforums was the first place I found to post my work for a little feedback - and after posting on fanfic.net, etc. - I can say that it was a great place to post because of the awesome community. Not only that, but it really got me into writing. I took part in many a fallout RP and wound up writing five more fanfics for this site.
A few friendly RPers suggested I try my hand at writing something original, so I did, and with their help, Nine Ides was born.
Now, as I wait for several other blogs to tear apart my ebook, I wanted to revel in the moment and thank a few Beth forum-ers for their help, insight, and encouragement - without which Nine Ides never would have been published.

Lately, I've been too busy with my new job to actually write, so I thought I'd share, and wish any other Beth authors out there a bit of good luck.
