I have not yet gone up to High Hrothgar to be acknowledged by the Grey Beards as dragon born. Thus, the main Dragonborn Quest has not yet begun. Nevertheless, I have collected the first word of Bend Will. I did this before and did not have a problem with the MQ. Storn simply skipped the "go to Searing's Watch" part and told me to go free the Skaal.

I have a couple of questions about the main Dragonborn quest:

1) I decided to go ahead and see if using Bend Will on an All-Maker stone before beginning the DB MQ would work the same way as after the MQ started. It did. A Lurker appeared and then the scripted dragon. Does this affect the MQ?

2) What if I were to do this to free the Skaal before Storn asks me to? Would that break the MQ? (Can I even do it? I may make a save just to find out.)

I can use the one word Bend Will to free the Earth Stone and then meet Storn, He asks Mye character to find His daughter in the Temple of Miraak, no effect on the Questline.
I can have my character free all of the Stones, but the Tree Stone before meeting Storn. This does avoid having to free the Standing Stones before He submits to offering Himself to Hermae Mora for Our character to get the last word of Bend Will.
Meeting the Jarl of Whiterun is a necessary Evil without using a Mod to be able to have Dragons exist to harvest for Souls to unlock Shouts found on Word Walls.
