Ancient Nord weapons are ugly and questionably functional. And cheap, so I usually leave them where I found them. Falmer weapons are little better. Forsworn swords are pretty interesting-looking, though.
Iron is variable. I like Iron battle-axes, because they seem the mose sensible design: you get both a blade for chopping, and a spike for puncturing helmets. Most of the other weapons, not so much.
I like steel daggers and battle-axes, swords not so much. While they're not as functional-looking as the iron design, steel battle-axes are among the coolest looking weapon in the game. And I am very partial to steel plate armor: Tiberius's boots and bracers are steel plate, even though he has access to stronger types.
Dwarven weapons are too bright yellow for my tastes. And the armor, especially: in terms of glowing, you'd give Rudolph's nose a run for its money. But I do like the design of their war-axes.
Elven weapons are fairly cool in looks, and I wouldn't feel unarmed with one. I especially love the look of the elvish mace: it's by far the most vicious-looking mace in the game. And their battle-axe has grown on me. Like the daggers, don't like the swords.
Orcish one-hand weapons are mostly cool. Really like their mace, dagger, and especially their war axe.
Glass weapons are kind of green for my tastes, though I think the dagger and mace are OK. Even though I craft more glass battle-axes than anything else (because they're good money), I don't really like the look of them. Glass armor is OK, too; it's green, but fairly subdued.
Ebony doesn't do much for me. Tiberius's backup weapons are two ebony fire swords, but I keep them around for their destructiveness, not their appearance. The one exception is their war axes: those are pretty nice-looking. And I like ebony armor, too.
I don't use Daedric stuff, and I don't have Dawnguard (so no Dragon weapons for me). I can say that Dragonplate armor seems to be a bit of an aquired taste, and I havent acquired it yet.
