Ebony weapons look great.

I like the elvish style of the Glass weapons but the bright green is a little.. gawdy.

If I had to choose only two, best would be Glass, worst would be Iron.

I like the realistic looking or somewhat plain weapons, like those in Iron or Steel.
I could never get myself to use Dwemer, Elvish, Glass, Ebony or Daedric. They're cool all right, but I don't think they fit in.
I only ever use the basic armours, like Fur, Hide, Steel and Iron. With weapons, I can sometimes allow myself something Ebony, but mostly not.
For shields, nothing else than Hide, Steel, Iron and the Guard Shields.

So I'd say the best looking weapons are Steel and the Worst are Daedric.

Dunmer made the original Eastern Glass , it's stronger and the color is a little different.

Best: Daedric - I duel wield a sword and dagger and use a bow, what I like is that they look different but yet the same style plus the red looks awesome

Worst: Orcish and Ebony - Firstly I just hate how savage they look like, (the swords) it's they just slivered it off a block and didn't actually make a a sword, which is fine when using Orcish I suppose cause it fits their savage nature, but Ebony to me should have looked more ornate.

I like Ebony Daggers and Swords and Great Swords. I like Glass Warhammers and Bows. I hate the look of all Battle Axes, maybe except Dwarven. I hate Glass daggers and Swords. I hate Dwarven Daggers and Swords.

Blades Swords look cool, and I like how the Dwarven Bow looks. Daedric looks too cliche for me. The Penitus Oculatus armor looks good too, and if you combine it with Shrouded Boots, Hood & Gauntlets, it gives a nice assassin look.

I love the Dragon Priest daggers. Always have one loaded with a soul trap enchantment.

The Nightingale sword is really cool too.

I like glass. Glass likes me. It's a fairly straightforward relationship.

I love the ebony bow. I like most of the ebony weapons when it comes to looks. I also love how the Forsworn weapons look. I'm not a huge fan of the Dwarven weapons save for the Dwarven arrows. They just aren't that appealing to look at to me.

I don't really hate or strongly dislike how all the weapons look, though.

I agree big time with the ebony bow, it looks fantastic. From the shaft to the string, it's all beautiful. Consequently, I also agree with dwarven weaponry (and armor). They just seem too impractical to carry around as I'm not much of a fan of broad-looking items.

Despite contradicting myself, my best weapon pick would have to go to the Dwarven Warhammer. The worst would be anything Daedric.

As for Weapons, the most Awesome looking would have to be Ebony, the worst would have to be Iron.
Armor: Hardened Falmer looks great on any non-human species, and the worst is Fur.
Overall Most Interesting: Falmer, mainly because of how crude it is, but it is still pretty effective.

Ancient Nord weapons are ugly and questionably functional. And cheap, so I usually leave them where I found them. Falmer weapons are little better. Forsworn swords are pretty interesting-looking, though.

Iron is variable. I like Iron battle-axes, because they seem the mose sensible design: you get both a blade for chopping, and a spike for puncturing helmets. Most of the other weapons, not so much.

I like steel daggers and battle-axes, swords not so much. While they're not as functional-looking as the iron design, steel battle-axes are among the coolest looking weapon in the game. And I am very partial to steel plate armor: Tiberius's boots and bracers are steel plate, even though he has access to stronger types.

Dwarven weapons are too bright yellow for my tastes. And the armor, especially: in terms of glowing, you'd give Rudolph's nose a run for its money. But I do like the design of their war-axes.

Elven weapons are fairly cool in looks, and I wouldn't feel unarmed with one. I especially love the look of the elvish mace: it's by far the most vicious-looking mace in the game. And their battle-axe has grown on me. Like the daggers, don't like the swords.

Orcish one-hand weapons are mostly cool. Really like their mace, dagger, and especially their war axe.

Glass weapons are kind of green for my tastes, though I think the dagger and mace are OK. Even though I craft more glass battle-axes than anything else (because they're good money), I don't really like the look of them. Glass armor is OK, too; it's green, but fairly subdued.

Ebony doesn't do much for me. Tiberius's backup weapons are two ebony fire swords, but I keep them around for their destructiveness, not their appearance. The one exception is their war axes: those are pretty nice-looking. And I like ebony armor, too.

I don't use Daedric stuff, and I don't have Dawnguard (so no Dragon weapons for me). I can say that Dragonplate armor seems to be a bit of an aquired taste, and I havent acquired it yet.

I dunno, I picked up Some falmer stuff back when I was only like level 6, and after using it until Level 15, they really grew on me, If you get the full set of Hardened Falmer Armor, it looks really good.

Can we mention unique weapons? Because I found Volendrung a while back and it is one mean looking warhammer! If I'm on a character that utilizes two-handed, Volendrung is a high priority weapon.

Hmm, I don't really remember what the Falmer armor looks like. I'm going to have to check it out again. I would feel strange throwing on something a nasty Falmer was wearing though, yuck.

And someone above mentioned the Elven mace. They do look really cool. Even though my current character is into blades, I just have to use one every now and then.

I really like the iron and steel weapons, since most of them are based upon RL. The iron sword for example, is the classic Viking Sword, the iron battleaxe is the Danish War Axe, etc...
